| Diaconal Ministry |

Deacons lead and guide us in the ministry of charity. Funds collected by our deacons may be used in a variety of ways. For example: hunger relief, meeting local special needs, refugee sponsorship etc. The local diaconal ministry is part of a wider denominational ministry called the Christian Reformed World Relief Committee (CRWRC). Bible Study: |
Meets at 10 a.m. every second Tuesday morning of the months September – May. The specific focus is Bible study. Child care is not available for this particular ministry. |

“Cross-Training” |
Seasonal Electives (intergenerational) – take place Sunday mornings (9.30 – 10.15 a.m.) on a semester system. Examples of electives offered: How to Read the Bible; Helping a Hurting Friend; etc. Electives will change from semester to semester. For specific information on each semester contact us. |

Coffee Break |
This women’s group meets for a time of fellowship and small group study. Meetings take place on Wednesday mornings (September – May). Childcare includes Story Hour for pre-school children and nursery for babies and children under 2 years of age. |

Food Bank Ministry |
A ministry with volunteers from various Christian churches in the Ladner area. The food back is located at Ladner Christian Fellowship – 5545 – Ladner Trunk Road. |

Friendship Coffee House |
An interfaith club for the mentally and physically challenged in our community. This ministry is designed to meet the social and spiritual needs of the friends who attend. The group gathers bi-weekly at Ladner CRC on Friday evenings from 7.30 – 9.30 p.m. Focus is fellowship, singing, games, crafts and special outings. New friends are always welcome.

Single Parents Ministry |
Giving single parents a well deserved break every fourth Wednesday evening of the month (September – May). Meals are provided at 5.30 pm, child care and activities available. Speakers are invited from time to time to offer an inspirational talk or provide practical advice for the guests. A “boutique” with various mostly used household and clothing items is available.

Together with the pastors, the elders of the congregation give pastoral care as may be required or requested. |

Seniors Ministry |
Seniors have an opportunity to gather for refreshments, luncheons, day trips, games, singing and socializing. Meetings are held every third Thursday morning of the month. (September – May) |

Small Groups Ministry |
Primary care for others takes place most effectively through the ministry of our small groups. Each small group that meets is encouraged to provide an intimate context for worship, care and fellowship, education/equipping, and service. |

Youth Ministry |
High school youth gather at the church each Tuesday evening. (September – May). A variety of activity is offered including youth talks related to issues youth face today. Activities include such things as bowling, skating, attending hockey or football games etc. |
